Windham Hose Company is a 100% Volunteer Fire Company that serves the Town of Windham, as well as surrounding communities upon request.

The Company has approximately 24 active and dedicated members, including vehicle/pump operators, firefighters, 3 Chiefs, 2 Captains, and various Administrative Officers such as our President.

The Company is dispatched to approximately 200 calls per year, drastically increased since late 2019/early 2020, when our average was around 100-110 per year.

Our station currently houses 8 apparatus, including 2 Pumpers, 1 Rescue-Pumper, 1 3000gal Tanker, 1 Heavy Rescue, an ATV & UTV, transported with a trailer, and 1 utility F-250.

Our response capabilities are constantly improving, however, we still need more volunteers. If you are interested in joining our team of Volunteer Firefighters, we would love to hear from you and assist you through the application process.
